Summoning! at the Slumber Party

It's Friday night. You and your friends are hanging out at home, watching a movie surrounded by piles of pillows and blankets, popcorn and soda cans littering the carpet. As you watch another screaming actress be shredded to ribbons by a demon on the screen, you wonder out loud: "... What if we summoned a demon?"

Summoning! at the Slumber Party is a character journaling exercise that uses a deck of cards to provide you with the location of and items used to complete a summoning ritual during a slumber party, and 1d6 to tell you how successful your summoning is. The only other thing you need is a way to tell your story, and a copy of the game. There are also additional rules for a tarot variant, if you prefer.

This listing has four versions available for download: The digital version (not printer friendly), a text only version for folks who just want to know how to play, a trifold edition (which comes with an additional insert for the oracle; you'll need to print all pages as a brochure, then trim the oracle to one panel) and a printable booklet version, for those who want the full 'zine experience. This version should be printed at 100%, back-and-front, with your printer settings adjusted to print a booklet.
