Some folks just seem to find themselves in a job, unsure how they really got there. In your case, you know exactly how you got here: You died. When you woke up, you were in the backroom of The Sunset Mini Mart, wearing a striped polo and a plastic name tag.
The Convenience Store at the End of the World is an RPG journaling exercise meant to help you create a new story for a character: A day in their afterlife, in their job behind the counter at The Sunset, helping others move on. All you need is a deck of cards (playing cards or tarot cards, either will do), and a way to record your experience.
For added immersion, we have curated a Spotify playlist for this game.
Welcome to The Sunset. How can I help you today?

The Convenience Store at the End of the World was inspired by Seika Erisawa and her manga series Box of Light. If this game intrigues you, I highly recommend the books: You won't regret it.

What to do about knights though? A playing card deck has no knights equivelent. In the mean time i feel I can just make things up, or make knights wild for their catagory as in knight of swords can be a grimoire or something out of the ordenary like that. Maybe that's the best course of action.
Thank you so much for bringing this up: I can't believe I overlooked this aspect! There will be an update posted to the game tonight, with new files for download, that will address this.
